Our Cool Story

Cool Air Rentals was established in 1995 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since then, the company has grown exponentially, and today we’re proud to offer ventilation, cooling, and heating solutions across Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Kelowna.

Our Origin Story

We got our start in the mid-90s by providing climate control solutions to production teams in what was then Vancouver’s up-and-coming film and television industry. We serviced now-iconic productions such as “The X-Files,” “The Outer Limits,” and “Jumanji” while fine-tuning our craft and learning exactly what equipment to provide for each environment. From there, we successfully applied our production expertise to other industries including construction, industrial and manufacturing, and healthcare.

Nearly 30 years later, our customers continue to turn to us for hassle-free cooling solutions. Whether working in a server room, construction site, or film set, our purpose-built equipment is designed to Roll-In, Plug-In, and Turn-On.
