Concrete Cooling Solutions
More and more technical sophistication and real time data recording is coming into the commercial, industrial, and multi-family construction field. The chemical curing process of concrete called hydration results in a high level of heat being generated. This heat can damage concrete as it cures and inhibits its ability to achieve it’s designed strength characteristic.
By introducing mechanically cooled and circulated water- glycol mix running in imbedded nylon tubing fitted with temperature sensors, we can draw this problematic heat out of the concrete. Controlling and monitoring the heat allows the concrete to reach its intended strength and the data collected proves to the consultant the structure is suitably strong.
